Elizabeth Clare Prophet through the Eyes of Her Students

It’s one thing to know the name of Elizabeth Clare Prophet. It’s another to know the woman.  You’ve heard about her, you know she has been recognized as a world-renowned author, teacher, and lecturer, but what was she really like? Get to know the woman many thousands call “Mother.”  Get to know the woman inspired by God who gave and kept on giving for over 36 years and didn’t count the personal cost.

To those who asked her how she did it, she would merely say, “I don’t do anything. God does it through me! To think otherwise is idolatry. Is anything too hard for the Lord?”

Here is a woman who found her individuality in God. Her greatest desire has been to share a path of spiritual freedom, which she forged and won by selfless service, unceasing prayer, and total reliance upon her Divine Source. Her mission has been to free men and women encased in the old mold. Quickened by the Holy Spirit, she sought to raise their sights to a new sense of identity in God and shared a vision of a life lived for Christ.

She taught us that no human dogma or doctrine would ever solve the equation of the human dilemma. To those trying to solve the world’s problems, her answer is simple: “God and only God is the solution.”

We have seen the eyes of weary souls take on renewed hope as the spark of love leaped from Mother’s heart to theirs. We have seen her heal with a single touch.  We have witnessed her presence change the forcefield of a room. We have watched the tears of those who wept in the strength and comfort of her presence. We have been amazed when she turned what looked like certain defeat into a resounding victory. We have held our breath with thousands as her challenge of unrighteousness removed the lethargy of a sleeping people.  

Get to know a woman who came proclaiming the Word of God as she heard it in the tradition of the Prophets of old, a woman who has given us, and many thousands more, a new higher way of life. Think of what a glorious world this would be if those, having touched the hem of the Masters’ garments through Mark and Elizabeth Prophet, would apply these teachings and run with them to transform an age from darkness into Light!
